IT Support Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Support Specialist to manage and support our organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining computer systems, networks, servers, and security systems to ensure the optimal performance of technology services. This role requires strong troubleshooting skills, technical expertise, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and network devices.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure reliable operation.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights in Active Directory and other systems.
• Maintain and support local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and internet connectivity.
• Ensure system security through proper access controls, backups, and antivirus/malware protection.
• Provide technical support to staff, addressing hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
• Perform regular system updates, patches, and upgrades.
• Document system configurations, changes, and maintenance activities.
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure quality IT services.
• Support IT projects including system rollouts, migrations, and new technology implementations.
• Enforce IT policies, standards, and procedures.
