Job description

Job Title: Integration Architect (Oracle Cloud Integrations)

Experience: 8+ years overall, with solid experience in enterprise integration coordination/delivery. Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) / OCI background is an advantage but

not mandatory.

Domain Preference: Banking and Financial Services

Role Summary We are looking for an Integration Architect to drive the execution of the already-agreed Oracle integration architecture across the enterprise. This role is primarily coordination and delivery focused — ensuring integrations between Oracle (Fusion/SaaS/PaaS) and various source/downstream systems (including core banking and adjacent platforms) are implemented as per the approved design, keeping design documentation current, and acting as the central coordination point between the Oracle partner, internal technical teams (security, network, architecture, applications), and business stakeholders. Working API knowledge is required; deep OIC/OCI hands-on expertise is not a prerequisite.

Key Responsibilities

  • Follow the agreed integration architecture and design, ensuring all Oracle-to-source-system integrations are implemented and delivered in line with the approved

standards.

  • Coordinate end-to-end execution of integrations between Oracle platforms and various source systems, including core banking and adjacent systems.
  • Create architecture/design diagrams and integration blueprints as and when required to support delivery or governance discussions.
  • Review and update existing design documentation to reflect the current state of integrations and any approved changes.
  • Apply working API knowledge (REST, Swagger/OpenAPI, API lifecycle concepts) to validate integration designs, review interface contracts, and support

troubleshooting.

  • Act as the primary coordination point with the Oracle partner for resolution of support tickets, incidents, and integration-related tasks.
  • Coordinate with security, network, architecture, and other internal teams to resolve dependencies, approvals, and technical blockers affecting integration delivery.
  • Track, follow up, and drive closure of integration-related action items and open issues across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Support planning and coordination of testing, cutover, and go-live activities for integrations.
  • Identify, escalate, and manage risks/issues impacting integration delivery, ensuring timely resolution with the right stakeholders.
  • Represent integration execution status in design/architecture review forums and provide ground-level delivery input.
  • Ensure integration changes are executed in compliance with agreed security, governance, and audit requirements.

Mandatory Skills

  • Good working knowledge of APIs — REST concepts, Swagger/OpenAPI, and general API lifecycle practices.
  • Experience coordinating integration delivery across multiple teams (functional, technical, vendor/partner).
  • Ability to read, interpret, and follow existing architecture/design documents and translate them into execution plans.
  • Ability to create/update architecture diagrams and technical documentation as needed.
  • Experience working with an Oracle (or similar) implementation partner for support ticket management and issue resolution.
  • General understanding of integration patterns (point-to-point, API-led, event-based) — Oracle-specific tooling knowledge not required.
  • Basic awareness of network/security concepts relevant to integrations (connectivity, firewalls, VPN) to coordinate effectively with security and network teams.
  • Exposure to Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and/or Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a plus, but not mandatory.

Banking Domain Expectations

  • Good understanding of banking application ecosystems, including core banking and surrounding platforms.
  • Ability to operate within regulated environments with security, audit, and compliance requirements.
  • Ability to translate functional requirements and existing designs into actionable execution plans.
