Security Guard – Job Description
Responsible for maintaining security and safety within the school premises, protecting students, staff, visitors, and school property, and ensuring compliance with security procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor school entrances and exits.
- Verify visitors’ identities and control access to the school.
- Monitor the movement of students, staff, and visitors.
- Conduct regular security patrols around the school premises.
- Report any incidents, suspicious activities, or safety concerns immediately.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and security situations.
- Protect school property and ensure a safe environment.
- Follow all school security and safety policies and procedures.
- Cooperate with school management and relevant authorities when required.
Qualifications & Experience:
Previous security experience is required, preferably within a school or educational environment. Good communication skills, discipline, alertness, and the ability to deal professionally with students, staff, and visitors are essential.
