Video Editor – Social Content Dubai

Join a dynamic team in Dubai as a Video Editor focused on transforming extensive raw footage into compelling short-form and long-form content. This role requires a keen eye for storytelling, the ability to identify standout moments, and the expertise to craft engaging narratives tailored for platforms such as Instagram Reels, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, and YouTube. You will be responsible for editing videos with effective hooks, pacing, subtitles, graphics, sound design, music, and visual effects to maximize audience engagement and retention.

Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos for various social media platforms and long-form channels.
• Develop clear, engaging storylines and identify key moments to enhance narrative flow.
• Apply advanced editing techniques, including color grading, sound design, and visual effects.
• Incorporate subtitles, graphics, and music to elevate video quality and accessibility.
• Manage large media libraries and utilize proxy workflows for efficient editing.
• Collaborate with team members using review tools such as Frame.io or similar platforms.
• Ensure all content meets high standards for visual quality and audience retention.
• Work on-site in Dubai and deliver projects within tight deadlines.

Skills And Requirements

• Minimum of four years’ professional experience in video editing, with a strong portfolio showcasing both social and long-form content.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve.
• Experience with After Effects, color grading, audio workflows, multicam editing, and captioning.
• Familiarity with proxy workflows, large media libraries, and collaborative review tools (e.g., Frame.io).
• Strong storytelling skills and editorial judgment for audience engagement.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• On-site availability in Dubai is required.
