Job description

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB

  • Responsible for ensuring mechanical works meet project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements. Performs detailed inspections, technical approvals, NCR management, and supports in continuous improvement of mechanical quality performance.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct detailed inspections of mechanical works to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
  • Review and approve inspection test results, measurements, and related documentation.
  • Identify, document, and report Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and follow up on corrective actions.
  • Support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to team leaders and inspectors on mechanical quality matters.
  • Review mechanical designs, installations, and completed works for conformity with project requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed inspection reports, quality records, and inspection logs.
  • Attend Hold Point (HP) and Witness Point (WP) inspections.
  • Address client/consultant comments and support continuous process improvement and lessons learned.

• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, project QMS, and participate in internal quality audits

SAFETY AND QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Protect, and strive for improvement of, the health, safety and security of our people at all times;
  • Eliminate Quality non-conformances and HSE accidents;
  • Ensure consistent and continuous compliance by all employees and vendors with safety and regulatory requirements, standards and protocols
  • Responsible for creating safe work environment, manage risks and reduce exposure to liability
  • Support line Management in managing HSE Incidents, corrective/preventive actions

SOCIAL COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain company’s social management system policy via follow and report any deviated cases against PSP IMS policy.
  • Take his own responsibility to comply with the social accountability requirements according to the standard SA8000.
  • Co-operate with the SP team for any further communication in order to improve and enhance the level of implementation and compliance with the company’s social management system.

REQUIRED FUNCTIONAL QUALIFICATION

Basic Requirements:

  • Qualification: Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering.
  • Related Field Experience: +5 years of experience in related field.
  • Overall Experience: +5 years of experience.
