Set to open in 2027, the resort will be located 50 miles from Dubai International Airport in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. The resort will offer 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants, lounges, and bars, a theater, and a beach club. It will feature multiple swimming and wading pools, a five-star spa, a salon, a shopping promenade, and a celebrations and events center.

About The Position Wynn Al Marjan Island is looking for a skilled Retail Cashier to join our Retail team.

Responsibilities The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:

  • Welcome every guest with warmth and polish, delivering a seamless, concierge-style checkout experience that reflects Wynn’s five-star service standards.
  • Process transactions accurately, discreetly, and efficiently across cash, credit/debit cards, mobile payments, and room charges.
  • Handle premium, artisanal, perishable, and high-value retail items with care, precision, and appropriate product knowledge.
  • Offer informed recommendations on curated products, specialty items, gifts, luxury essentials, and resort retail offerings to enhance the guest experience.
  • Maintain immaculate presentation at the till, surrounding displays, shelves, fridges, and grab-and-go areas, ensuring merchandise appears fresh, full, and beautifully presented.
  • Monitor product quality, expiry dates, freshness, pricing accuracy, and presentation standards; remove or report any item that falls short of Wynn’s premium standards.
  • Restock, rotate, and reset displays throughout the shift to uphold a flawless, curated retail environment.
  • Manage the cash float, count and balance the till, reconcile transactions, and report discrepancies immediately in line with company procedures.
  • Promote loyalty programs, gift cards, signature products, and daily curated selections with a soft, premium sales approach.
  • Provide anticipatory service, including suggesting complementary items, elegantly packing purchases, using guest names where appropriate, and adding thoughtful touches that exceed expectations.
  • Support stock rotation, labeling, deliveries, inventory counts, and merchandise handling while maintaining food-safety, hygiene, and storage standards where applicable.
  • Uphold all loss-prevention, cash-handling, security, health and safety, UAE retail, food-handling, and resort policies.
  • Exceptional guest-service instinct: anticipatory, discreet, gracious, and genuinely warm.
  • Polished, well-groomed presence aligned with luxury retail, hospitality, and fine-food standards.
  • Calm efficiency, with the ability to move quickly during peak periods without compromising service quality.
  • Product curiosity and the confidence to recommend premium, specialty, and resort-focused items.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and high integrity when handling cash, merchandise, guest charges, and food-related products.
  • Reliable team player with strong communication skills and a collaborative, hands-on approach.
  • Flexibility to work rotating shifts, early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
  • Physically able to stand for extended periods and assist with restocking, including chilled, frozen, fragile, or premium merchandise.

About You

  • High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality, retail, or customer-service training is an advantage.
  • 1–2 years of cashier or retail experience, ideally within luxury retail, premium convenience, gourmet food, food and beverage, or a five-star hospitality environment.
  • Proficiency with POS systems, barcode scanning, weighing scales, payment terminals, and basic transaction reconciliation.
  • Valid food-handler or basic food-hygiene certification is an advantage; training may be provided where required.
  • Strong numerical accuracy, cash-handling discipline, and attention to transactional detail.
  • Fluency in English is required; Arabic or additional languages such as Russian, Hindi, or Mandarin are highly desirable given Wynn’s international guest profile.
