Job description
We're Hiring: Automation Engineer – UAE Projects
Sia Engineering Projects India Pvt. Ltd . is looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with strong PLC programming skills to support industrial automation projects for our UAE-based clients.
Location: India / UAE Project Sites
Experience: 4–8 Years
Contract: 6–12 Months (Extendable)
Department: Automation & Controls Engineering
What You'll Do:
1. Independently write, modify & debug PLC logic (ladder, function block, structured text) for Rockwell/Allen-Bradley (Studio 5000, RSLogix, ControlLogix) and Siemens (TIA Portal, S7-1200/1500) platforms
2. Develop SCADA/HMI systems (FactoryTalk View, WinCC) — tags, alarms, trends
3. Integrate PLCs with VFDs, MCCs & field instruments via EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, Modbus, OPC
4. Execute FAT/SAT, commissioning & startup at UAE sites
5. Prepare I/O lists, control narratives, cause & effect documentation
6. Coordinate with client, EPC & E&I teams on-site
What We're Looking For:
B.E in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Automation
Proven, hands-on PLC programming experience — must be able to develop logic from scratch, not just modify existing programs
Strong command of Rockwell and/or Siemens programming environments
Sound understanding of control panels, industrial networking & instrumentation
UAE project exposure preferred; valid passport and willingness to travel

Pay: AED1,700.00 - AED3,500.00 per month
