Overview

Job Details:

Support the daily care, development, and educational progress of children by providing attentive and age-appropriate assistance.

Assist the department head with planning, organizing, and carrying out educational and childcare activities according to established requirements.

Maintain open and regular communication with parents or legal guardians regarding children’s daily activities, development, and relevant observations.

Carry out teaching, care, and educational duties assigned by the immediate supervisor while following established childcare practices.

Plan and deliver suitable learning activities that encourage children’s social, emotional, cognitive, and practical development.

Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and supportive environment where children can learn, interact, and develop with confidence.

Observe children’s behavior, participation, and progress and communicate important observations or concerns to the responsible supervisor.

Support classroom organization, daily routines, and group activities to maintain a structured and engaging learning environment.

Assist with preparing educational materials and maintaining an orderly classroom environment when required.

Work cooperatively with colleagues to ensure consistent care, supervision, and educational support throughout the day.

Job Experience Requirements:

Completed education or professional qualification as a preschool teacher, kindergarten teacher, early childhood educator, or an equivalent field.

Responsible, patient, caring, and positive personality with strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently, organize daily responsibilities, and follow instructions effectively.

Good ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, guardians, and colleagues.

Previous experience working with children in a preschool, kindergarten, educational, or childcare environment will be considered an advantage.

Candidates with other relevant educational qualifications or suitable supervisory experience may also be considered where a formal preschool teaching qualification is not available.
