Video Conference Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite technical support for video conferencing and collaboration rooms.
• Prepare, test, and support meeting rooms before scheduled and critical meetings.
• Troubleshoot cameras, codecs, microphones, speakers, displays, and room-control systems.
• Support Microsoft Teams Rooms, Logitech MTR, and Poly video conferencing systems.
• Troubleshoot AV, connectivity, content-sharing, and presentation issues.
• Perform equipment installation, configuration, replacement, and preventive maintenance.
• Provide immediate onsite support during urgent incidents and VIP/critical meetings.
• Create and update incidents and service requests through the ITSM platform.
• Coordinate with Network, Infrastructure, Security, and vendor teams for complex issues.
• Support approved firmware/software upgrades and equipment lifecycle activities.
• Maintain equipment inventory, technical records, and troubleshooting documentation.

Requirements

• 3+Yrs. of hands-on Video Conferencing / AV / Collaboration experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Teams / Teams Rooms.
• Experience with Poly video conferencing systems and codecs.
• Good knowledge of AV equipment, cameras, microphones, speakers, and displays.
• Basic IP networking and connectivity troubleshooting.
• Experience with room-control and content-sharing technologies.
• Familiarity with Crestron, QSC, Shure, Bose, Logitech MTR, BenQ or similar AV technologies is an advantage.
• Experience with AV equipment installation, cabling, and configuration.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and user communication skills.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, AV Technology, or related field.
• Microsoft Teams, Poly, AV, or relevant certifications are an advantage.
• Onsite presence in Riyadh is mandatory.
• Willingness to support critical meetings and participate in on-call support when required.
