Job description

Dussmann Ajlan & Bros is pleased to announce a new career opportunity for the position of Hard Services Consultant – Mechanical , based at our Headquarters in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia .

Role Purpose

Provide technical support and governance for Hard Services delivery across assigned sites, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, SLA/KPI targets, and HSE standards. Support contractor performance monitoring, PPM execution tracking, and audit readiness to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of mechanical and MEP systems.

Technical Knowledge

  • Working knowledge of mechanical and MEP systems.
  • Understanding of FM standards, including SFG20, NFPA, SBC, CIBSE, and ASHRAE.
  • Awareness of ISO 41001, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001.
  • Knowledge of PPM and reactive maintenance tracking, permit-to-work systems, SLA/KPI monitoring, inspections, and audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the technical oversight of Hard Services delivery and monitor contractor compliance.
  • Provide technical guidance on mechanical systems in line with applicable standards and specifications.
  • Track PPM schedules and reactive work orders through CAFM/CMMS and follow up on backlogs and timely closure.
  • Collect and validate performance data and support SLA/KPI tracking and reporting.
  • Conduct technical inspections and audits, identify non-compliance issues, and support NCR/CAPA tracking.
  • Ensure SOPs, permits, method statements, and maintenance records are available, updated, and compliant.
  • Support permit-to-work compliance, safety inspections, and risk-mitigation activities.
  • Assist with asset verification, documentation review, and readiness activities during mobilization and transition.
  • Prepare reports covering PPM performance, backlogs, incidents, and technical issues.
  • Coordinate with the FMC team, contractors, and client representatives to ensure smooth service delivery.

Systems and Digital Tools

Proficiency in CAFM/CMMS platforms such as Maximo, PMS procedures, KPI monitoring tools, reporting dashboards, and document-management systems such as SharePoint or EDMS.

Required Soft Skills

Leadership, critical thinking, problem-solving, effective communication, stakeholder engagement, decision-making, conflict resolution, analytical thinking, attention to detail, time management, and the ability to work under pressure.

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Facilities Management.
  • Experience supporting Hard Services operations, contractor performance monitoring, and maintenance tracking within FM environments.
  • Exposure to inspections, audits, and KPI governance is preferred.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

Mandatory Certification

IWFM Level 4 or above, an equivalent professional certification, or equivalent relevant experience.

Preferred Certifications

ISO 41001 awareness, NEBOSH, BICSc, or PMP.
