Where Does This Role Fit Into the Bigger Picture?
The Graphic Designer will be part of DFF’s creative and communications ecosystem, supporting a range of strategic functions, departments, and high-profile initiatives across the Foundation.
The role will work closely with internal stakeholders, including senior leadership and cross-functional teams, to translate ideas, strategies, initiatives, and messages into compelling and effective visual communications.
Depending on business priorities, the Graphic Designer may support areas such as Special Projects, the Office of the COO, RDI, and other strategic functions and initiatives across DFF .
The Role
As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for developing high-quality and visually compelling creative content that effectively communicates DFF’s brand, initiatives, and strategic priorities.
You will work across a diverse portfolio of projects, creating visual assets for executive communications, strategic presentations, campaigns, events, digital platforms, internal communications, reports, and other business requirements.
The role requires a strong creative mindset, excellent attention to detail, an understanding of branding and visual communication principles, and the ability to translate complex information into clear, engaging, and impactful designs.
You will also be expected to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously, working collaboratively with stakeholders while maintaining consistency with DFF’s brand identity and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative and impactful visual content across a range of formats, including branding, presentations, reports, digital assets, social media content, newsletters, event collateral, infographics, and other communication materials.
- Translate complex ideas, concepts, data, and strategic messages into clear and visually engaging designs for both internal and external audiences.
- Develop high-quality visual materials for executive presentations, leadership communications, strategic initiatives, campaigns, events, and special projects.
- Apply DFF’s brand identity and design principles consistently across all creative outputs, ensuring alignment with brand standards and messaging.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across different functions and departments to understand requirements, develop concepts, and deliver creative solutions that meet business objectives.
- Support the development of creative concepts and visual identities for new initiatives, projects, campaigns, and events.
- Design data-driven visual content, including infographics, charts, diagrams, and other visual representations of complex information.
- Develop creative assets for digital and print applications, ensuring designs are optimised for the relevant platform and audience.
- Research emerging design trends, technologies, and creative approaches and incorporate relevant developments into design solutions.
- Utilise multimedia and motion design techniques, where appropriate, to enhance digital content and presentations.
- Explore and appropriately utilise Generative AI and emerging creative technologies to improve design processes, ideation, and content development.
- Manage multiple design projects concurrently, prioritising deliverables effectively and ensuring quality and timely completion.
- Participate in creative reviews and stakeholder discussions, incorporating feedback and adapting designs to meet evolving requirements.
- Maintain organised design files, documentation, templates, guidelines, and other relevant creative assets.
- Ensure all creative outputs meet professional design standards and are consistent across different channels and touchpoints.
- Support the development and maintenance of design templates and guidelines to improve consistency and efficiency across DFF.
- Stay current with developments in graphic design, digital media, visual communication, and creative technology.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in graphic design, supported by a strong portfolio demonstrating creative and design capabilities.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects.
- Strong understanding of branding, layout, colour theory, typography, and visual communication across digital and print media.
- Experience developing visual content for presentations, campaigns, events, corporate communications, or strategic initiatives.
- Strong ability to translate complex information and concepts into clear and visually compelling designs.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with web design, multimedia content, animation, and motion graphics is an advantage.
- Familiarity with Generative AI and emerging creative technologies is an advantage.
- Good understanding of marketing and advertising principles and their application to visual communication.
- Experience working within Agile environments is an advantage.
- Experience developing or designing Arabic content is preferred.
