Mint Tower Capital is an investment boutique based in Amsterdam that manages over 1.2 billion USD and is growing rapidly. Our flagship fund, the Mint Tower Arbitrage Fund, is a multi-strategy arbitrage fund that manages investments across multiple asset classes such as fixed income, equities, convertible bonds and equity derivatives.

The Role as a Buy-Side Analyst

Mint Tower is looking for an Equity Analyst to bridge the gap between deep fundamental research and dynamic arbitrage trading. In this role, you will act as a true buy-side analyst and you will be directly responsible for driving investment decisions and impacting fund performance. You will be actively putting capital to work. Your core responsibilities include:

• Fundamental & Market Research: Conducting detailed company analysis, attending capital markets days, and actively tracking earnings calls to extract critical insights and identify market inefficiencies before the broader market reacts.
• Alpha Generation & Catalyst Pricing: Interpreting and contextualizing global news headlines, and directly aiding in volatility, event-driven corporate catalysts, and dividend pricing.
• Portfolio Management Integration: You will contribute directly to our broader portfolio management strategies, collaborating with experienced traders to optimize risk and return across asset classes.

Position Requirements

• Strong academic credentials in finance, economics, econometrics, or a related quantitative field.
• A minimum of 3 years (or more) of relevant experience either in a buy-side or sell- side equity analyst role.
• Strong financial modeling skills, including experience in analyzing company financials, forecasting earnings, and using various valuation methods.
• A generalist mindset, with a preference for analyzing a broad spectrum of industries and corporate events rather than narrow sector specialization.
• Commercial and communication drive: Effective communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. You will actively reach out to external trading relationships, sell-side counterparts, and corporate investor relations teams to gather market intelligence.
• Disciplined and flexible work attitude, as periods of high volatility can require longer trading days. The team trades markets globally; therefore, working into the evening may occasionally be required.
• Fluent in English. Professional proficiency in Dutch or another European language is preferred but not mandatory.
• Team player who is able to think in terms of the bigger picture and thrives under pressure.
