Job description

As a Reporting Officer at CACEIS NL, you will be part of a dedicated team of 13 professionals committed to delivering insightful analyses and reports. Together, you ensure that the performance, risks, and compliance of investment portfolios for both Dutch and international clients are made transparent. In this role, you will work closely with involved colleagues across various departments and international teams.

At its core, this is a hands-on reporting role. While analysis is an important part of the job, your main focus is on producing accurate and meaningful client reports. You will work within recurring reporting cycles, where accuracy, data quality and timely delivery are key. Do you enjoy working with investment data and turning it into reliable, meaningful reporting? Use your analytical skills to deliver insights that clients and internal stakeholders can rely on!

What will you do as a Reporting Officer?

  • Calculate the performance of investment portfolios for Dutch and international clients, with a strong involvement in UK-related reporting.
  • Prepare, analyse and deliver performance, risk, and investment compliance reports across multiple dimensions.
  • Analyse returns, identify deviations from benchmarks and resolve data discrepancies by investigating calculations, configurations and chain processes.
  • Translate complex analyses into clear insights for internal stakeholders and clients, adding value through storytelling with numbers.
  • Onboard and support new clients by mapping out their needs, aligning with senior colleagues for more complex matters when necessary.
  • Conduct compliance analyses based on investment policies and communicate with clients about achieved returns and compliance breaches.
  • Contribute to service and data quality improvements by analysing processes and defining practical enhancements.
  • Collaborate closely with internal departments and international CACEIS entities, contributing to cross-departmental initiatives, while taking ownership of analyses and actively contributing to knowledge sharing and team development.

What do you need to get started as a Reporting Officer?

  • A completed bachelor’s degree (HBO/WO) in for example finance, economics or banking.
  • A certification in CIPM or CFA would be a plus.
  • At least 1 year of experience in the financial sector, preferably with experience in performance analysis.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, investment products and cost structures is a plus.
  • Experience with financial data analysis, data quality and underlying calculations; advanced Excel skills and experience with large datasets. Knowledge of SimCorp Dimension is a plus.
  • You can translate complex quantitative analyses into clear, actionable insights for internal stakeholders and clients.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Dutch.
  • You gradually start working independently on reports and analyses, consulting senior colleagues when facing more complex challenges.
  • You have an affinity for project-based work and actively contribute to improvement initiatives and agile streams.
  • You are a true team player and natural connector who is customer-oriented, flexible, and resilient under pressure, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • You are available for 36 hours per week.
