Senior Manager, Global Sustainability - Scope 3 at a glance...
You will be the absolute subject matter expert for agriculture decarbonization within our global footprint. Your primary mission will be to own, evolve, and manage the strategic oversight of our global approach to reducing Scope 3 emissions in agriculture, which represents the largest lever in our climate strategy. You will work hand in hand with our subject matter expert on climate and nature risk, marrying our decarbonisation approach to our global efforts to build supply chain resilience and mitigate risks within our procurement organisation. **Key Ingredients:**Own the Global Agriculture Decarbonization Strategy: Define the strategic direction, frameworks, and interventions required to achieve our global Science Based Targets (SBTi) across agricultural supply chains. Conduct global portfolio assessments, trade-off analyses, and risk evaluations to future-proof our sourcing. Enable and Support Regional Execution: Act as the primary strategic partner to our zones and regional teams. While the regions own direct execution, you will provide them with the toolkits, methodologies, standard operating procedures, and technical guidance needed to successfully scale on-the-ground interventions (e.g., regenerative agriculture, low-carbon fertilizer pilots, and methane reduction). Cross-Functional Governance & Rituals: Lead program deployment and change management across regions. Establish corporate governance rituals, run steering committees, and implement agile ways of working to maintain absolute alignment between global commitments and regional execution realities. Procurement & Supplier Collaboration: Partner closely with Global Procurement to align Supplier Guiding Principles, supplier selection, and commercial terms with our climate targets. Help build supplier capability programs and foster joint value creation through upstream carbon reduction. Data Rigor and Reporting: Collaborate with data, R&D, and controllership teams to ensure accurate, auditable, and complete primary data flows from the field. Provide robust inputs for voluntary and regulated external disclosures (such as CSRD, CDP, and corporate sustainability reports) to track progress against our Net Zero targets. External Engagement & Outside Insights: Represent the company in high-impact external sustainability initiatives, coalitions, and multi-stakeholder platforms. Monitor the rapidly evolving legislative, NGO, and competitive landscape to bring best-in-class climate innovations and methodologies back into the business. **Recipe for Success: Apply if this sounds like you!**I have years of relevant corporate sustainability experience, with a proven track record dedicated to Scope 3 accounting and agricultural emissions reduction. I have deep knowledge of agricultural greenhouse gas accounting protocols (including GHG Protocol Land Sector and Removals Guidance, SBTi FLAG standards), life cycle assessment methodologies I have experience with the development and management of regenerative agriculture projects and overall supply chain decarbonization levers in FCMG I have an exceptional ability to build relationships, build trust, and get things done through others across a matrixed, international organization. I know how to influence both senior leadership and cross-functional regional teams without direct reporting authority. I have a proven ability to translate complex, scientific, and regulatory climate concepts into clear, actionable business strategies and operational toolkits. I have outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills. Ability to deliver high-quality finished products and board-ready strategies with a high level of autonomy. **What we offer you / You deserve:**An ambitious employer: we want to the best for you; A fast career track like only few other companies can match; Reimbursement for commuting costs Hybrid working model Discount on health insurance and gym membership Always room for new ideas; if you have an excellent idea, please let us know, and we can set it in action!
