For our site office in Dubai, we are looking for

ELV / ICT & Security Systems Engineer - 100% (m/f)

The Ideal Candidate will have strong experience reviewing and coordinating ELV, ICT, security systems, security screening equipment, structured cabling, fibre backbone, communications rooms, public address, voice alarm, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and specialist low-current systems for large campus, building, industrial, transport, airport, or infrastructure projects. The candidate should be comfortable managing vendor document reviews, technical interfaces, BIM/model coordination inputs, testing and commissioning readiness, and authority-related requirements. Airport or aviation facilities experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Review and comment on ELV, ICT, structured cabling, fibre backbone, containment, pathways, comms rooms, data rooms, and related technical submittals.
• Coordinate security systems including CCTV, video management, access control, intrusion detection, intercom, security network interfaces, and integration points.
• Review security screening equipment interfaces, including baggage screening, passenger screening, access-control interfaces, vendor requirements, power/data provisions, spatial coordination, and integration with operational systems where applicable.
• Review public address, voice alarm, emergency communication, master clock, IPTV, BMS integration, and other low-current systems where applicable.
• Coordinate specialist vendor packages, vendor document reviews, technical interfaces, power/data/civil provisions, and integration requirements.
• Check submissions against specifications, design intent, authority requirements, applicable codes, international standards, and operational requirements.
• Coordinate ELV/ICT/security interfaces with electrical, MEP, architecture, structure, fire life safety, IT, BIM, and contractor teams.
• Support model-based coordination of ELV containment, equipment rooms, risers, pathways, cable tray routes, device locations, and access/maintenance clearances.
• Support testing, commissioning, FAT/SAT documentation review, system integration planning, handover readiness, and close-out of technical observations.
• Track submittal status, review comments, vendor responses, RFIs, technical queries, interface actions, and outstanding approvals through to closure.
• Participate in technical meetings, vendor workshops, design reviews, coordination sessions, client/stakeholder reviews, and authority/supporting-document reviews.
• Prepare clear technical review comments, vendor correspondence, issue summaries, and close-out documentation

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, ICT Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in ELV, ICT, telecommunications, security systems, or low-current engineering on major projects.
• Minimum 4 years of experience reviewing ICT and ELV submittals for large campus, industrial, transport, airport, or major building projects is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of structured cabling and fibre backbone design/review to ISO/IEC 11801, TIA-568, BICSI practice, or equivalent standards.
• Strong competence across CCTV, video management, access control, intrusion detection, security networks, and UAE security authority requirements such as SIRA where applicable.
• Working knowledge of public address and voice alarm requirements, including NFPA 72 and Dubai Civil Defence expectations where applicable.
• Experience with vendor document review and interface tracking for specialist ICT, ELV, security, ITS, or screening-equipment packages.
• Testing and commissioning awareness, including FAT, SAT, integrated systems testing, handover documentation, and operational-readiness requirements.
• Navisworks, Revit, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and model-based coordination experience for ELV/ICT systems is preferred.
• Airport, aviation, large industrial, transport, campus, or major building project experience is preferred.
• Prior exposure to EPC contractor environments or contractor-side vendor coordination workflows is an advantage.
• RCDD, BICSI, SIRA-related training, or equivalent professional certification is an advantage.
• Fluent written and spoken English for review comments, technical correspondence, client-facing coordination, and vendor coordination; Arabic is an advantage.
