Job description

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Female Consultant Gastroenterologist to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will diagnose and treat a wide range of gastrointestinal, liver, pancreatic, and digestive disorders while providing exceptional patient-centered care in accordance with international medical standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and manage diseases related to the gastrointestinal tract, liver, pancreas, and gallbladder.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including gastroscopy and colonoscopy.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including surgeons, radiologists, dietitians, and internal medicine specialists.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with DHA regulations and hospital protocols.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, preventive care, and lifestyle modifications.
  • Participate in departmental meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and continuing medical education programs.
  • Supervise junior medical staff when required.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • MBBS or equivalent medical degree recognized by DHA.
  • Board Certification / Fellowship in Gastroenterology.
  • DHA License or DHA Eligibility Letter as Consultant Gastroenterologist.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of post-specialization experience in a reputed hospital or healthcare facility.
  • Expertise in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluency in English; Arabic/Hindi is an advantage.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in managing IBS, IBD, GERD, liver diseases, and hepatology cases.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Patient-focused approach with strong clinical judgment.
