We are hiring an Azure Cloud Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure supporting our enterprise solutions. You will work with DevOps pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and Azure-native services to ensure high availability, security, and performance for client environments across development, staging, and production.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy Azure infrastructure (App Services, Functions, AKS, SQL, Virtual Networks) for client projects.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions for automated deployments.
- Implement infrastructure-as-code using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Monitor and optimise cloud environments for cost, performance, and reliability.
- Implement security best practices including identity management (Azure AD/Entra ID), RBAC, and network policies.
- Support disaster-recovery planning, backup strategies, and compliance requirements.
- Collaborate with development and integration teams to ensure cloud-ready application architectures.
- Document infrastructure designs, runbooks, and operational procedures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, storage, databases).
- Proficiency in at least one IaC tool: Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates.
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).
- Understanding of cloud security practices, identity management, and monitoring/alerting (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics).
- Familiarity with containerisation (Docker, Kubernetes/AKS) is a strong plus.
- Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-305, or AZ-400) are preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced consulting environment.
