Job Description
What a Senior Consultant, Tech Partnerships PMO does at Visa:
You will be an integral member of the Onboarding and Implementation function, acting as a program management office for some of Visa’s most strategic clients in Tech Partnerships. This role is uniquely positioned at the intersection of client delivery, product innovation, and market expansion, supporting:

Launch of new products and capabilities

Expansion into new markets across AP and globally
-
Acceleration of go-to-market (GTM) timelines to drive tangible business outcomes
You will ensure seamless execution of complex, multi-workstream programs involving cross-functional Visa teams and external stakeholders, while enabling clients to achieve speed, scale, and impact.
In this role, you are expected to:
Lead complex, high-impact client programs:
-
Drive end-to-end program delivery across multiple workstreams for Tech Partnership clients, including global fintechs, BigTechs, and hyperscalers
-
Execute strategic initiatives such as new product launches, platform integrations, and market expansions
Accelerate go-to-market and client outcomes:
-
Champion faster GTM delivery models, reducing time-to-launch and enabling clients to realise business value sooner
-
Drive disciplined execution that balances speed, quality, and risk management
-
Support tech partner On Behalf Of onboarding processes.
Own program governance and execution excellence:
-
Develop and manage comprehensive program plans, timelines, risk registers, and stakeholder communications
-
Ensure alignment across Product, Technology, Risk, Treasury, and Client Services teams
Act as a strategic delivery partner to clients:
-
Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) for program delivery engagement
-
Translate client business objectives into executable delivery plans
-
Advocate for client priorities while aligning with Visa’s strategic goals
Enable client growth and expansion:
-
Support clients in scaling across new geographies, products, and use cases
-
Deliver initiatives that unlock growth opportunities and enhance client performance
Drive continuous improvement and scalable delivery:
-
Introduce agile delivery practices and program management best practices
-
Identify opportunities to optimise delivery models, reduce client friction, and improve execution efficiency
Lead through complexity:
-
Navigate ambiguity, manage escalations, and resolve complex cross-functional challenges
-
Operate with autonomy and accountability to deliver outcomes in fast-paced, evolving environments
-
Serve as an escalation point for complex issues encountered by project team members.

Qualifications
What you will need:
Individuals who bring a breadth of experience, a genuine curiosity about payments, is results driven and client focused. You should have:

Bachelor’s Degree with 10+ years of experience in program/project management within payments, fintech, or technology environments
-
Proven experience managing large-scale, cross-functional programs, ideally involving product launches or market expansions
-
Strong understanding of payments ecosystems, platforms, and transaction processing (VisaNet knowledge is a plus)
-
Demonstrated ability to:
-
Drive delivery in fast-paced, high-growth environments (e.g., fintech, BigTech, hyperscalers)
-
Influence senior stakeholders internally and externally
-
Translate complex technical and business requirements into execution plans
-
Strong client engagement skills with the ability to:

Build trusted partnerships with strategic clients

Balance competing priorities and drive alignment across stakeholders

Excellent program management fundamentals:

Planning, risk management, governance, and execution tracking

Communication and executive reporting

High ownership mindset with the ability to:

Operate independently

Deliver against ambitious timelines

Proficiency with standard tools (e.g., MS Planner, Excel, PowerPoint) and ability to leverage data and AI insights to enhance delivery
What will also help:

Aptitude to learn and upskill across program management standards and methodologies

Experience of presenting in person and remotely to a range of stakeholders at all levels of an organization

Comfortable working in a complex and often ambiguous environment

Experience working with or supporting:
-
Global fintech platforms, BigTechs, or hyperscalers.

API-based or platform-driven product launches.
