DATA & ANALYTICS UAT TESTER (6 MONTHS CONTRACT), 2 VACANCIES

About the role

You will be responsible for validating data accuracy and system functionality across the entire data journey, from ingestion and transformation through to dashboard reporting. You will work closely with business stakeholders, data teams, and technology vendors to ensure quality outcomes and a seamless user experience.

Key responsibilities

Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios and test cases.

Execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) across end-to-end data workflows, including data ingestion, data validation, data transformation, and dashboard and reporting outputs.

Review vendor-prepared test cases, identify gaps, and develop additional test coverage where required.

Perform data validation activities to verify accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

Identify, document, track, and follow up on defects to ensure timely resolution.

Support data cleansing and quality improvement initiatives.

Review project documentation and ensure deliverables are complete and up to date.

Participate in story-level and end-to-end testing activities to meet project timelines.

About you

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, Statistics, or a related discipline.

At least 2 years of experience in UAT, software testing, or quality assurance.

Strong understanding of data concepts and data quality principles.

Familiarity with data ingestion, data validation, data transformation, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes.

Working knowledge of SQL, including the ability to review queries and validate data outputs.

Experience testing data-centric applications, analytics platforms, data warehouse solutions, or data migration projects.

Experience with dashboarding or Business Intelligence platforms (preferred).

Exposure to analytics or reporting environments (preferred).

Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies (preferred).
