General description of the role:

The job holder will be responsible for the proactive support of requests from internal sales and product teams, external suppliers and third parties across Fujifilm’s European markets. The incumbent will need to demonstrate very strong business development acumen including previous experience of managing suppliers, establishing distribution agreements and strategising for commercial success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support growth of Pulmonology and Synapse 3D business by developing and executing business development strategy.
• Manage existing suppliers and add new products to portfolio to strengthen the position of Fujifilm Pulmosolutions. The candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of supplier management, supply chain management, legal, and establishing distribution agreements.
• Work with Europe Product Manager to align on strategy of events and educational activities to ensure each individual market develops and the actions support the growth set out by management.
• Work with both upstream and downstream product management to ensure the correct development of the product roadmap.
• Work with marketing to ensure the clear messages are appropriate for Europe and the individual markets.
• Maintain and grow the Key Opinion Leader (KOL) networks, to ensure Fujifilm Healthcare are a trusted partner. This applies to Pulmonology and the specific surgical fields of Synapse 3D.
• Support the countries with strategy to ensure targets are met and budget is achieved.
• Support the market introduction of new products with the EU Product Manager, so that the teams and end-users are comfortable with the adoption of new technology.
• Work with local country Business Unit Managers and Product Managers on tailored strategies depending on specific market requirements, to grow the local and overall targets.

Other Requirements:

• Work Cross-Business Unit with the other businesses of Fujifilm Healthcare to ensure the overall solution is understood in the business development and strategy planning.
• Work with Business Development across the Endoscopy Business to align ideas, strategy and overall results contributing to targets.
• Work with HQ to keep informed on EU requirements and strategy needs.
• Arrange KOL meetings, in the form of Advisory Boards, to align current clinical practice, market trends and the future of Pulmonology and Surgical fields.

Required Skills, Experiences and Qualifications:

• 8+ years in Medical Devices.
• Experience with business development, Supplier and distributor management.
• Proficient experience in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, CRM (Salesforce), reporting tools.
• Attention to detail, analytical skills, delivering clear business case plans.
• Experience bringing new products to market.
• Experience working within a multi-cultural environment. Bringing experience from dealing with countries to contribute to an overall strategy.
• Very good written and verbal communication skills in English. Other European languages are desirable.
