Join us in this role where you’ll deploy and improve QHSE legal compliance processes across our German hub. You’ll monitor regulatory requirements, maintain compliance tools and registers, and help colleagues translate regulations into effective processes, actions, and training.

Welcome to QHSE Hub Germany

You’ll be part of the QHSE Hub Germany team where you, together with your colleagues, will support our site in Norddeich and our German wind farms. You’ll work closely with five QHSE advisers, four based offshore and one based onshore, providing specialist guidance on regulations, compliance processes, reporting, audits, and continuous improvement.

As a team, we care about safety, share our expertise, and collaborate across different locations, disciplines, and backgrounds to find practical solutions.

You’ll play an important role in:

  • identifying, monitoring, and interpreting German legal and QHSE compliance requirements, and tracking regulatory changes, and coordinating and monitoring actions with employees or consultants to close gaps between Ørsted management system requirements and local regulations.
  • developing and maintaining legal registers, compliance monitoring tools, QHSE processes, and instructions for Hub Germany
  • reviewing QHSE documentation for offshore work and helping ensure alignment with legal obligations, QHSE requirements, and safe ways of working
  • supporting audits, ISO certifications, Synergy case quality, dashboards, trend analysis, action plans, and management reporting
  • guiding colleagues and stakeholders on local regulations, QHSE processes, compliance expectations, and communication with relevant authorities
  • developing QHSE compliance training, supporting employee onboarding, and implementing corporate initiatives and campaigns.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have a background in quality and occupational health and safety management, with sound knowledge of German occupational health and safety regulations
  • speak, read, and write German to a high professional standard and can communicate effectively in an international working environment
  • understand quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety management systems, including ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001
  • have experience managing processes and systems and can turn detailed regulations and guidelines into practical ways of working
  • communicate clearly, build constructive stakeholder relationships, and feel comfortable working across teams and functions
  • work independently within defined guidelines, organise your work effectively, and bring project management capability and a continuous-improvement mindset.

Maybe you’ve read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don’t quite match all the points. If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
