Job description

Occupational Therapist – Pediatric Focus

Location:  Sharjah, UAE |  Employment:  Full-time |  Work Mode:  On-site

Betterly Wellness  is a multidisciplinary mental health and wellness center in Sharjah, committed to compassionate, inclusive, and evidence-based care. We are looking for a  Pediatric Occupational Therapist  to join our growing clinical team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct developmental, sensory, functional, and occupational assessments for children.
  • Develop and deliver individualized, evidence-based intervention plans.
  • Provide pediatric OT interventions targeting  sensory processing, developmental skills, fine and gross motor skills, activities of daily living, functional independence, and school readiness .
  • Monitor client progress and maintain clear, accurate clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with psychologists, speech therapists, psychiatrists, and other professionals within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Provide parent/caregiver education, home programs, and practical guidance.
  • Participate in case discussions, supervision, training, and community awareness initiatives when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Occupational Therapy (BOT/MOT) from a recognized institution.
  • Valid professional registration/license to practice as an Occupational Therapist in the UAE.
  • Strong pediatric clinical experience , particularly in developmental and sensory interventions.
  • Previous UAE experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with children with ASD, ADHD, developmental delays, sensory processing difficulties, learning difficulties, or other neurodevelopmental conditions is an advantage.
  • Strong communication, documentation, teamwork, and family-engagement skills.
  • Commitment to ethical, evidence-based, and culturally sensitive practice.
  • Candidates must be willing to work on-site in Sharjah.
