Job Purpose

Drive seamless, accurate, and efficient electronic data exchange at Murata Electronics Europe. As

an EDI Coordinator (m/f/d), you ensure orders, invoices, and shipping information flow smoothly between customers, suppliers, and logistics partners — keeping our supply chain running and our service outstanding.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a collaborative team to design, develop, and test EDI transactions
• Ensure smooth roll‑outs by following our established standards and guidelines
• Build and configure EDI connections with trading partners, and fine‑tune systems through rigorous testing
• Keep clear records of customer setups and create functional and technical specifications to help resolve issues quickly within SLAs and maintain operational excellence.
• Support both internal teams and external partners in resolving cases
• Proactively monitor systems and coordinate maintenance for minimal downtime

Qualifications and required skills

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Informatics, or comparable vocational training
• Experience in EDI, application support, IT operations, or IT Helpdesk environments
• Strong hands-on experience with SQL, Java, and relational database technologies
• Experience with Seeburger BIS6
• Knowledge of MuleSoft API integration platforms
• Familiarity with ERP systems and business process integration
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured approach to trouble shooting
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and business stakeholders
• Team-oriented, proactive, and customer-focused mindset
• Language Skills: Fluent English (written and spoken) and Basic German language skills (A2/B1 level or higher) or willingness to further develop German language proficiency
• Based in the Nuremberg metropolitan area or willing to relocate to the region
