Working Student (m/f/x) - IT

Your Contribution As a working student you help keep ITONICS' internal IT environment reliable, secure, and easy to work with. Every laptop you set up, every access request you handle, and every process you document means a colleague can get on with their work instead of waiting on a ticket.

Your Day-to-Day Tasks

• Being a first point of contact for IT questions and incidents, and solving what you can on the spot
• Setting up, configuring, and handing over laptops, devices, and software for new joiners
• Creating and maintaining user accounts, permissions, and access rights (with guidance from the team)
• Helping monitor our networks, servers, and systems so we catch issues before our colleagues do
• Supporting security basics: patching, updates, backups, and access reviews
• Documenting processes, configurations, and recurring issues so knowledge stays in the team
• Bringing ideas on where we can automate, simplify, or use AI to make IT work better

Your Skills & Qualifications

• You're enrolled in a degree program in (business) informatics, IT, media informatics, or something comparable — and you're staying enrolled for a while
• You know your way around Windows and/or macOS and are curious about networks, servers, and cloud tools
• You enjoy helping people and can explain technical things without jargon
• You work in a structured, reliable, and detail-oriented way, even when several requests land at once
• You communicate confidently in German and English (our company language is English)
• Bonus, not a must: first experience with Google Workspace, MDM tools, scripting, or ITIL fundamentals
