Role Description This is a full-time on-site role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate, United Arab Emirates for a Fit-Out and Renovation Civil Engineer. The role involves planning, supervising, and executing civil works for fit-out and renovation projects, including structural modifications, partitions, finishes, and associated building services. The civil engineer will prepare technical drawings and specifications, review designs, coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors, and ensure that work complies with local regulations, safety standards, and company quality procedures. Daily tasks include site inspections, progress monitoring, resolving technical issues, preparing reports, and supporting project managers in scheduling, resource allocation, and cost control. The role also requires close collaboration with clients and internal teams to meet project timelines and deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Strong civil engineering skills related to fit-out and renovation works, including structural assessment, material selection, and construction methods.
• Proficiency in technical documentation and design tools (e.g., AutoCAD, reading engineering drawings, preparing BOQs and specifications).
• Experience in site supervision, quality control, and implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards on construction sites.
• Project coordination abilities, including scheduling, resource planning, cost monitoring, and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for liaising with clients, consultants, suppliers, and on-site workforce.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field; professional certifications or local authority approvals are an advantage.
• Previous experience in interior fit-out, refurbishment, and building maintenance projects within the UAE or GCC is highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to fast-paced site environments; valid UAE driving license is a plus.
