Job description

Reports to:

Co-Chief Executive Officers

Works alongside:

General Managers (peer level), supporting all three GMs on systems set-up

Location:

Dubai (Al Quoz / Alserkal Avenue), with occasional travel

Type:

Full-time, management role

Purpose of the Role

The Business Services Manager is a senior generalist who owns the company's internal operating infrastructure — its business systems, processes, reporting, documentation, and governance support. The role acts as a trusted partner to the Co-CEOs and as an internal consultant and implementation lead to the three General Managers, bringing structure, visibility, and discipline to a fast-growing business without holding line authority over departments. The role exists to ensure the organization runs on robust, scalable foundations while leadership focuses on commercial growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Systems & Process Management

Own the company's end-to-end business processes across commercial, operational, and administrative functions.

•     Lead the selection, implementation, and ongoing management of business systems, including ERP requirements gathering, vendor evaluation, rollout, and user adoption.

•     Partner with the three General Managers to define, set up, and embed systems and processes within their respective business units, acting as an internal consultant and implementation lead rather than a line authority.

•     Develop, document, and maintain SOPs, forms, templates, and workflows across all departments; keep them current, version-controlled, and continuously improved.

•     Champion adoption of SOPs and systems across departments through collaboration, training, and follow-up with department leadership.

•     Identify process gaps and inefficiencies and drive automation and standardization initiatives.

2. Business Reporting & Performance Visibility

•     Support the Co-CEOs in preparing business reporting for the board and investors, including monthly and quarterly performance packs, KPI reporting, and variance commentary.

•     Design and maintain dashboards providing clear visibility on commercial, operational, and financial KPIs across business channels.

•     Coordinate with Finance to ensure reporting accuracy, consistency, and timeliness.

•     Track and follow up on board and investor action items through to completion.

3. Legal & Corporate Governance Support

Act as the internal liaison with external legal counsel; coordinate document reviews, follow-ups, and deadlines on behalf of the Co-CEOs.

•     Manage sensitive documents — contracts, NDAs, board minutes, and corporate records — with strict confidentiality, version control, and secure storage.

•     Track legal and regulatory requirements and ensure timely follow-through on licensing, corporate filings, and contractual obligations.

•     Support contract lifecycle management, tracking renewals, expiries, and key obligations.

4. Special Projects

Lead or coordinate cross-functional special projects as directed by the Co-CEOs, such as facility development workstreams, market entry initiatives, or systems rollouts.

•     Provide project structure and discipline: scoping, timelines, stakeholder coordination, and progress reporting.

5. People & HR Foundations

Develop the company's initial HR policy framework, covering employment policies, leave, code of conduct, and onboarding/offboarding.

•     Support personnel matters including recruitment coordination, employment contracts, performance review frameworks, and employee documentation.

•     Act as the first point of contact for HR administration until a dedicated HR function is established.

Candidate Profile

5-7+ years' experience in business operations, business services, management consulting, or similar generalist roles, ideally in SME or scale-up environments.

•     Demonstrated experience implementing or managing ERP and business systems, and writing SOPs.

•     Strong financial literacy: comfortable with KPIs, P&L reporting, and building dashboards (Excel, Power BI, or similar).

•     Exposure to legal and contract administration, with proven discretion handling confidential material.

•     Able to drive change through influence, credibility, and collaboration rather than formal authority.

•     Highly organized and structured, with strong written communication.

•     Self-starter who thrives in ambiguity and can build function foundations from scratch.

•     UAE experience preferred; food or FMCG sector exposure a plus.

Success Measures (First 12 Months)

ERP requirements defined and implementation underway or complete, with all three business units engaged.

•     Core SOP library documented and adopted across departments.

•     Investor and board reporting pack and KPI dashboard running on a reliable monthly cadence.

•     Legal document register and tracking system in place.

  • Foundational HR policy handbook issued
