Job description

Job title: Salesforce Administrator
Reports to: Director of Strategy, Automation and Systems
Location: Dubai, UAE — on-site
Contract: Full-time

Purpose of the role

To own the day-to-day health, configuration and user experience of our Salesforce platform across multiple business lines. You are the first point of contact for every user in the business, the person who keeps the org clean and documented, and the internal counterpart to our external implementation partner during and after go-live.

This is a hands-on role in a business that runs field operations at scale. You will be close to the work, close to the users, and close to the person paying for the platform.

Key responsibilities

Platform administration

  • Own user setup, profiles, permission sets, roles, sharing rules and licence allocation across all business entities in the org.
  • Build and maintain declarative automation — Flows, validation rules, approval processes, assignment rules — and retire legacy automation that duplicates or conflicts with it.
  • Manage page layouts, Lightning record pages, list views, dynamic forms and mobile layouts for field-based users.
  • Maintain data quality: deduplication, standardised picklists, mandatory field discipline, and scheduled data hygiene reporting.

Field Service

  • Administer Salesforce Field Service: service territories, operating hours, work types, skills, resource absences, scheduling policies and dispatcher console configuration.
  • Support and configure the mobile app experience for field agents, including offline behaviour and mobile flows.
  • Work with Field Operations to translate territory, capacity and scheduling changes into platform configuration.

Release and change management

  • Run the intake process for change requests: log, triage, size, and either build it or escalate it to the developer with a written specification.
  • Own the release calendar. Nothing reaches production without being tested in a sandbox and documented.
  • Manage Salesforce seasonal releases: review release notes, test in preview sandboxes, and flag anything that breaks existing configuration.

Reporting and support

  • Build and maintain reports and dashboards; support the data flow into our Power BI reporting layer.
  • Provide first- and second-line user support, with an agreed SLA and a visible queue.
  • Deliver user training and maintain end-user documentation and process guides.

Partner and vendor management

  • Act as the internal counterpart to our external implementation partner: review their work, validate their tickets, and progressively take BAU support in-house.
  • Maintain the org's configuration documentation so that knowledge sits with us, not with a vendor.

Essential requirements

  • 3+ years hands-on as a Salesforce Administrator in a live production org with 50+ users.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) — current.
  • Demonstrable Flow-building ability. You should be able to talk through a complex Flow you built, why you built it declaratively, and what you would do differently now.
  • Strong grasp of the security model: profiles vs permission sets, OWD, role hierarchy, sharing rules.
  • Data management: Data Loader / Data Import Wizard, deduplication, bulk updates, and the judgement to know when a bulk update is dangerous.
  • Report and dashboard building to a standard an executive will actually read.
  • Clear written English. Much of this job is writing things down properly.

Desirable

  • Salesforce Field Service experience or the Field Service Consultant certification. This is the single most valuable differentiator for us and we will pay a premium for it.
  • Advanced Administrator (ADM 211) or Platform App Builder certification.
  • Experience in an org with third-party integrations (middleware, ETL, external systems).
  • Experience supporting field-based, non-office users — engineers, agents, drivers.
  • Exposure to a multi-entity or multi-brand org structure.
  • Experience taking a platform over from an external implementation partner.

The person

  • Rigorous. You test before you deploy and document after.
  • Comfortable inheriting complexity built by other people, and improving it carefully rather than rebuilding it out of preference.
  • Direct about risk. You say when a request will cause damage, and you say it early.
  • Genuinely curious about how the business works, not just how the platform works.
  • Able to explain a technical constraint to a non-technical stakeholder without patronising them or hiding behind jargon.

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED11,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • hands-on as a Salesforce Administrator in a live production: 3 years (Required)
  • Salesforce Field Service: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Salesforce Certified Administrator (ADM 201) (Preferred)
