Database & Data Systems Manager

We are seeking a technically strong Database & Data Systems Manager to manage, organize, and maintain the company's data and databases across multiple business operations. The role will also support system integrations, reporting, automation, and future development or customization of POS/ERP systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain company databases and ensure data accuracy, security, and reliability.
• Write and manage SQL queries and databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
• Consolidate and structure data from POS, inventory, central kitchen, purchasing, finance, HR, and other systems.
• Build automated reports, dashboards, and data workflows.
• Support data migration, system integrations, and API connections.
• Manage database backups, access permissions, and security.
• Support future development or customization of open-source POS/ERP systems and manage the underlying data architecture.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of SQL, MySQL and/or PostgreSQL.
• Experience in database design, data management, and data migration.
• Understanding of APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with reporting and BI tools such as Power BI, Metabase, or similar.
• Knowledge of Python, data automation, cloud databases, or ERP/POS systems is an advantage.
• Ability to work independently and understand complex business operations.

Ideal Candidate: Database Engineer, Data Engineer, Database Administrator, Data Architect, or Systems/ERP Technical Consultant with strong SQL and systems integration experience.

Experience:

• restaurant/hotel industry: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:

• malayalam (Preferred)
