Digital Sales is at the forefront of Visa’s sales organization, playing a pivotal role in building stronger relationships with our clients and scaling our business. Our Digital Sales teams harness cutting-edge technology and sophisticated analytics to craft tailored solutions for clients and unlock exciting new opportunities.
A Business Development Representative in Digital Sales applies modern sales technology, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to convert market interest into meaningful commercial opportunities, introduce clients to solutions that support their growth, and contribute directly to Visa’s strategic priorities. The role also provides an opportunity to develop deep payments expertise, strengthen commercial capabilities, and build a strong foundation for long-term career growth at Visa.
What a Business Development Representative, Digital Sales does at Visa:
Execute Visa’s go to market (GTM) route to market (RTM) motion focused on prioritized customer segments and solution
Perform high volume inbound and outbound lead generation and qualification motions to efficiently uncover and qualify high-value sales opportunities within targeted customer segments
Qualify leads and identify key personas and decision-makers within various buying groups .
Leverage go-to-market tools and technology to research, engage, and qualify leads and maintain accurate records within Visa’s CRM
Appropriately leverage and demonstrate proficiency at navigating various communication channels including but not limited to phone, email, LinkedIn, and social channels to build and nurture strong client relationships
Meet and exceed weekly, monthly, and quarterly targets and KPIs
Collaborate with and provide ongoing feedback to sales leadership, B2B marketing, and product organizations to continuously improve and refine effectiveness of campaigns, messaging, and engagement strategies and ultimately increase overall close rate
Effectively communicate Visa’s value proposition across multiple products and solutions and demonstrate ability to overcome client and prospect objection
Test and reach new markets to put Visa's products and services in front of new markets who might not be aware of what we have to offer
Effectively incorporate customer delivery motions that help scale and execute a modern Business Development motion aligned to industry best practices

Consistently achieves or exceeds pipeline creation, qualification, and productivity targets.
Delivers high-quality opportunities that progress efficiently through the sales funnel.
Demonstrates strong business acumen, qualification rigor, and CRM discipline.
Serves as a trusted partner to sales, marketing, and product teams, fostering strong cross-functional collaboration.
Identifies new customer segments and market opportunities that contribute to Visa's growth objectives across Asia Pacific.
Maintains a customer-centric mindset while positively contributing to team culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
This is a full-time work from office position located in Singapore. You will be required to be in office onsite for 5 days.

The Asia Pacific Digital Sales Business Development Representative team is a critical part of Visa’s digital-first, data-driven sales model. The team builds a scalable demand generation engine by engaging prospective clients, understanding their business needs, qualifying inbound and outbound leads, and connecting high-potential opportunities with the appropriate Visa sellers and specialists. Through disciplined prospecting, thoughtful qualification, and close partnership with Sales, Marketing, and Product teams, the team expands market coverage, strengthens the sales pipeline, and creates a seamless experience for clients across the region.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, Finance, or a related discipline.
2-5 years of experience in business development, sales development, lead generation, account management, or other customer-facing commercial roles.
Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and develop opportunities within a B2B sales environment, supported by strong pipeline management and CRM discipline.
Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage senior decision-makers.
Analytical and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, interpret data, identify trends, and make informed recommendations in a fast-paced environment.
Experience leveraging CRM, sales engagement platforms, and AI-powered tools to enhance prospecting, productivity, and workflow efficiency.
Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
What will also help:
Experience supporting B2B technology, payments, fintech, banking, SaaS, consulting, or related industries.
Exposure to APAC markets and experience working across diverse cultures and stakeholders, particularly across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands.
Experience partnering with cross-functional teams including sales, marketing, and product.
Additional Asian language capabilities are an advantage.
