Automation Test Architect

Envision Employment Solutions is currently looking for a Automation Test Architect for one of our partners, a global leader in consulting, digital transformation, technology and engineering services.

Objective:

We are seeking an experienced Automation Test Architect to lead the design and implementation of scalable test automation frameworks across web, mobile, and API applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on automation testing experience, strong expertise in Selenium and Appium, and a proven ability to drive automation strategy, improve testing efficiency, and ensure software quality throughout the development lifecycle.

This role requires either professional fluency in both Arabic and English, or prior international work experience in a Western market (e.g. US, UK, Canada, Europe, Australia).

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for Web, Mobile, and API applications.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test plans and test cases based on business requirements.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing using automated scripts.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous delivery.
• Identify, document, track, and validate defects using tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prepare test reports, quality metrics, and automation status updates for stakeholders.
• Promote automation best practices and mentor team members on automation standards and frameworks.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in software testing, with strong hands-on experience in test automation.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Selenium.
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with Appium.
• Strong experience in API automation testing.
• Minimum 3 years of experience testing Web/UI and eCommerce Mobile Applications.
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for automated testing.
• Experience designing and executing functional, regression, integration, and system tests.
• Experience using defect management tools such as Azure DevOps and Jira .
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with AccelQ is a plus.
• Experience in the Airline domain is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
