Junior AI Automation Developer

About the role Arabian Private Holdings is currently supporting a leading logistics provider based in Dubai as they transition toward more efficient, logic-driven internal systems. The Junior AI Automation Developer exists to translate high-level operational goals into functional, automated workflows that reduce the reliance on manual data entry. In this role, you will work directly with our principals to build the technical framework necessary for the client to achieve better portfolio clarity and faster decision making.

What you will do

• Research specific large language models and automation platforms to determine which tools best fit the client's current operating model.
• Build and maintain automated workflows that connect disparate software systems, ensuring data flows accurately between departments.
• Assist in the design of logic-based triggers for the logistics provider to manage shipping documentation and internal communications.
• Write clear, technical documentation that explains how these automated systems work, avoiding jargon so that stakeholders can understand the new processes.
• Test and debug automation scripts to ensure they handle edge cases without failing or corrupting existing data sets.
• Participate in internal reviews where you will present your technical findings and receive feedback from senior principals.
• Monitor the performance of active automations and suggest adjustments to improve their reliability and speed.
• Collaborate on the development of internal dashboards that give the client a real-time view of their logistical operations.

What we are looking for

• A foundational understanding of logic-based programming, with basic experience in Python or similar languages being helpful.
• Comfort using no-code or low-code automation tools to link different web applications and databases.
• Clarity of thought and the ability to explain complex technical steps in plain, professional English.
• A high level of curiosity regarding how large corporations and holding companies structure their data.
• The discipline to work independently in a fully remote setting while meeting specific project milestones.
• Strong attention to detail, particularly when it comes to checking the accuracy of data outputs and system triggers.
