Project Engineer

A leading construction company in the UAE, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Engineer to join our team in Dubai.

We are looking for a dedicated Civil Engineer with a strong background in site management and project execution, who can effectively oversee high-rise building projects and ensure successful delivery in compliance with all regulatory standards and quality requirements.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily site operations to ensure project progress aligns with approved schedules and timelines, with a focus on high-rise building projects.
• Coordinate effectively with project managers, subcontractors, consultants, and site teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
• Ensure strict compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and Dubai Municipality codes throughout all project phases.
• Manage site documentation, including project plans, method statements, progress reports, permits, and material submittals.
• Identify and resolve any technical issues, conflicts, or bottlenecks on-site promptly and effectively.
• Monitor project progress and report on key milestones, challenges, and achievements to senior management.
• Review and interpret engineering drawings, plans, and specifications; ensure all work is executed as per approved designs.
• Liaise with local authorities (DEWA, RTA, DM, Civil Defense, etc.) for necessary approvals and inspections.
• Provide technical guidance and support to site teams and subcontractors.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in site or project engineering within the Dubai/UAE construction industry.
• Mandatory: Minimum of 3 years of experience in High-Rise Building construction in Dubai.
• Proven track record of successfully contributing to high-rise projects in Dubai, with strong knowledge of:
• Dubai Municipality and other Authorities regulations, approval processes, and building codes.
• Local authority requirements (DEWA, RTA, Civil Defense, DM, etc.).
• Construction methods, materials, and safety standards specific to high-rise buildings.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations applicable in the UAE.
• Proficiency in industry-standard software such as AutoCAD, MS Project, Primavera P6, and other relevant tools.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
