MEP ESTIMATOR

MEP Estimator / Quantity Surveyor Department: Estimation & Commercial Industry: Building Contracting / Fit-Out / Renovation Location: UAE Job Summary We are looking for an experienced MEP Estimator / Quantity Surveyor to prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates for Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) works for villa renovations, residential projects and commercial fit-out projects. Key Responsibilities - Review drawings, BOQs, specifications and client requirements. - Prepare detailed MEP quotations and cost estimates. - Carry out quantity take-offs for: - Electrical works - Plumbing & drainage - HVAC / AC works - Fire fighting & fire alarm works where applicable - Prepare material and labour cost breakdowns. - Obtain and compare quotations from suppliers and subcontractors. - Prepare BOQs based on drawings and site requirements. - Attend site visits when required for measurements and scope verification. - Identify missing items or discrepancies in drawings and scope. - Coordinate with architects, engineers, project managers and procurement teams. - Prepare variation quotations for additional MEP works. - Maintain updated supplier, subcontractor and material price databases. - Ensure quotations are competitive while maintaining the required company margin. - Follow up on submitted quotations and make revisions when required. - Support the project team with cost control after project award. Requirements - Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, MEP Engineering, Quantity Surveying or related field. - Minimum 2–3 years UAE experience in MEP estimation preferred. - Strong experience in fit-out, renovation and villa projects. - Good knowledge of UAE MEP materials, labour rates and subcontractor pricing. - Ability to read MEP drawings, architectural drawings and specifications. - Strong knowledge of Excel and AutoCAD. - Experience with estimation/BOQ software is an advantage. - Good communication and negotiation skills. - Must be accurate, organized and able to prepare quotations within deadlines. Preferred Candidate Candidate should be capable of independently receiving drawings or project requirements and preparing a complete, detailed and commercially competitive MEP quotation with minimal supervision.

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
