Job Description BIM/CAD Technician (Infra & Dry Utilities - MV, LV Power Distribution, Lighting, Telecom and Security Networks) Dubai, UAE Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented BIM/CAD Technician to join our team! In this role you will be required to perform from basic to moderately-difficult design/drafting assignments. What You'll Be Doing

• Experience on infrastructure Dry utilities mainly MV, LV Power Distribution, Lighting, Telecom, Security Networks, Pump Stations, and Bridges/Tunnels etc.
• Work closely with CAD & BIM Managers and Design Leads to complete the assigned project deliverable in compliance with the required Standards and Quality.
• Works with CAD & BIM Managers, Design Leads and Engineers to develop engineering drawings consisting of basic arrangements, layouts, flow sheets, assemblies, isometrics, component details from rough sketches and/or from general engineering and design information according to established standards and procedures, and to ensure timely completion.
• Review each drawing for readability, presentation and adherence to standards, in accordance to company QA/QC process.
• Good knowledge in content creation and able to create different types of parametric and non-parametric families.
• Collaborate and communicate with other disciplines on coordination issues.
• Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
• Candidates with knowledge on local authority electricity standards and regulations (DEWA, SEWA, Etihad WE, DM etc.) are preferred.

What Required Skills You'll Bring

• 3-Years Diploma (preferably with Equivalency)/ 4 Years Engineering degree in Electrical & Electronics.
• Minimum 5+ years of CAD drafting experience in infrastructure and Dry utilities projects including MV, LV Power Distribution, Lighting, Telecom, Security Networks, Pump Stations and Bridges/Tunnels etc.
• Software experience required: BIM-Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD and MicroStation.
• Common Data Environment: ProjectWise & Autodesk Forma (ACC)
• Ability to communicate fluently in English.
