Role Description The Senior Interior Designer will lead the design process from concept development through to detailed design and execution for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include space planning, preparing interior layouts, coordinating FF&E selections, and producing or overseeing construction drawings and documentation. The role involves collaborating closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and suppliers to ensure design intent is maintained through project delivery. The Senior Interior Designer will mentor junior designers, participate in client presentations, manage design revisions, and support site coordination during fit-out and installation. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong Interior Design and Architecture skills, with proven experience delivering high-quality residential and commercial projects.
  • Candidates should possess advanced Space Planning capabilities, including functional layouts, circulation design, and efficient use of interior environments.
  • Candidates should possess proficiency in Construction Drawings, detailing, and documentation for fit-out and execution phases.
  • Candidates should possess expertise in FF&E selection, specification, and coordination, including finishes, furniture, and lighting.
  • Candidates should have strong proficiency in design and visualization tools (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar BIM tools, SketchUp, 3D visualization and rendering software).
  • Candidates should demonstrate solid project coordination skills, including vendor management, site supervision support, and adherence to budget, quality, and timelines.
  • Candidates should have excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multidisciplinary teams and interact confidently with clients.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field, and several years of experience in a senior or lead designer role are highly beneficial; experience in the UAE or GCC market is an advantage.
