Job Description

As a Senior Client Accountant, you'll serve as the primary contact for private equity, real estate, credit, and debt fund clients, overseeing fund accounting, NAV review, financial and regulatory reporting, investor servicing, and fund administration while ensuring regulatory compliance, operational excellence, and strong client relationship management.

What you'll do

  • You'll act as the day-to-day front-office contact for designated fund clients and investors, building strong relationships, understanding client needs, and delivering customer-centric solutions while meeting legal and contractual obligations
  • You'll review and validate all components of the Net Asset Value (NAV), ensuring the accuracy and integrity of fund accounting, calculations, and reporting services
  • You'll monitor and review financial statements, periodic reports, and regulatory filings, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with applicable regulations and reporting requirements
  • You'll manage all administrative activities related to assigned funds, maintaining a high level of organization, attention to detail, and collaboration to achieve team and client objectives
  • You'll identify and escalate significant findings, recommend appropriate solutions, ensure adherence to internal and external policies, and actively contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives

Qualifications

  • You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics and possess a professional accounting qualification such as ACA, ACCA, or CIMA.
  • You have 4-6 years of relevant accounting experience, with fund accounting experience considered a strong advantage.
  • You demonstrate knowledge of Dutch GAAP, while familiarity with IFRS is an additional asset.
  • You possess strong client relationship management skills, with proven experience resolving issues directly with clients and delivering high-quality service.
  • You communicate effectively in English, with Dutch language skills considered beneficial, and have experience supporting, mentoring, and developing less experienced team members.
