About the role: Installing solar panels on a rooftop is one thing. Helping to ensure that the financing behind those projects runs smoothly is another.

Within Treasury, we support Sunrock's continued growth by managing financing processes, maintaining relationships with lenders and investors, preparing financial analyses, and helping ensure the financial health of our portfolios. Treasury works closely with project development, asset management, finance, legal, and management. This gives you a unique opportunity to gain insight into how renewable energy projects are developed, financed, and managed. We are looking for a colleague who enjoys solving complex challenges, thrives in a multidisciplinary environment, and isn't intimidated by a spreadsheet with more tabs than seems reasonable. Someone who brings structure, takes initiative, and enjoys finding solutions together with others.

You will join a small, engaged team with a high level of responsibility and plenty of opportunities to learn and grow. No two days are the same. One day, you may coordinate a drawdown under a financing facility, the next, you could be discussing portfolio performance with lenders or updating a financial model. Along the way, we support each other, keep things light-hearted, and believe that a healthy sense of humour is just as important as a solid financial model. As a Treasurer Associate, you will help coordinate interactions between lenders, project teams, finance, legal, and management. In this role, you will be involved throughout the financing lifecycle, from drawdowns and lender reporting to financial modelling, liquidity management, and monitoring financing obligations. Depending on your experience, you will gradually take ownership of financing processes and a portfolio of projects, while contributing to the continuous development of Treasury within Sunrock.

What You Will Do Bank Relationship Management

• Support lender relationship management
• Support new financings, refinancings, and expansions of existing facilities.
• Monitor financial covenants and other obligations under financing documentation.
• Collaborate with external advisors, banks, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders.

Drawdown Coordination

• Coordinate and execute drawdowns under existing financing and intercompany loans.
• Prepare and manage timelines and fulfilment of conditions precedent.
• Coordinate with project, finance, and legal teams to enable timely funding.
• Identify and resolve operational and financial bottlenecks.

Bank Reporting

• Prepare and coordinate periodic reporting to lenders.
• Analyse portfolio performance and developments.
• Interpret profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Translate financial performance into clear and meaningful explanations for lenders and management.

Financial Modelling

• Update operational financial models based on actual project performance.
• Analyse variances between business cases and actual results.
• Update assumptions and scenarios.
• Support financing and strategic analyses.
• Contribute to the assessment of new financing structures.

Treasury Operations

• Support cash flow forecasting and liquidity management.
• Coordinate applications, extensions, and releases of bank guarantees.

What You Bring To The Table

• Experience with financial modelling in Excel, including building, maintaining and analysing financial models.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial information and translate it into meaningful insights.
• Take ownership of workstreams and coordinate stakeholders.
• Stakeholder management skills, with the ability to connect and align internal and external stakeholders.
• Structured way of working with a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
• Ability to explain complex financial concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
• Curious, proactive and eager to learn.
• Comfortable operating in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
• Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
• A collaborative mindset and a healthy sense of humour.
