Procurement & Contract Compliance Specialist

We are looking for a Procurement & Contract Compliance Specialist to join a temporary Enhanced Spend Validation Team within a large industrial organization.

The role focuses on reviewing high-value and high-risk transactions, ensuring compliance with supplier contracts and identifying financial risks, deviations and potential spend leakage.

What you'll do

• Review and validate SAP/SES transactions, particularly transactions above €25,000.
• Check rates, quantities, materials, surcharges and completed work against contractual agreements.
• Analyse contracts, supplier documentation and supporting evidence.
• Identify financial risks, compliance issues and potential leakage.
• Investigate deviations and provide fact-based conclusions.
• Support reviewers with complex contractual and commercial cases.
• Work with Procurement, Finance, Operations, Contract Management and suppliers.
• Escalate complex or high-risk cases to senior specialists and management.

What we're looking for

• HBO-level education in Procurement, Business Administration, Supply Chain, Finance, Commercial Economics or similar.
• Experience in procurement, contract management, supplier management or commercial contract management.
• Strong contract interpretation and analytical skills.
• Experience with financial/commercial analysis and risk assessment.
• Strong control and risk mindset.
• SAP/SES experience is a strong advantage.
• Experience in compliance, audit, controls or assurance is a plus.
• Industrial/technical environment experience is desirable.
• Good Dutch and English.
