Real Time Software Engineer

Role: Real-Time Software Engineer

Purpose: Develop the core software platform that receives sensor data, processes events, controls devices, and generates records

Required Experience: 5+ Years

Required Competencies:

• Advanced proficiency in C#, C++, or another appropriate systems programming language.
• Must have experience with Doppler Radar/LiDar, Digital Signal Processing (DSP) and Fast Fourier Transformation(FFT).
• Strong experience with real-time or near-real-time software systems.
• Strong understanding of concurrency, asynchronous programming, thread safety, memory management, and task scheduling.
• Ability to build high-throughput processing pipelines using producer-consumer patterns, queues, bounded channels, and backpressure.
• Ability to parse binary communication protocols safely and efficiently.
• Experience with TCP, UDP, serial communication, CAN, GPIO, and device SDK integration.
• Ability to configure PTP, NTP, GNSS time sources, and hardware timestamps.
• Ability to develop watchdogs, device reconnection, retry policies, timeout handling, and automatic recovery.
• Experience with profiling CPU, memory, disk, GPU, and network performance.
• Ability to develop simulation and replay tools using logged data.
• Ability to implement unit, integration, hardware-in-the-loop, and regression testing.
• Strong understanding of software versioning, release control, and production deployment

Education Required:

• Minimum bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant field.
