Assistant Waiter

Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Waiter in the vibrant city of Dubai, United Arab Emirates! We are seeking a friendly and customer-focused individual to support our dining service operations and ensure an exceptional guest experience.

• Assist the lead waiter in serving food and beverages to guests

• Set and clear tables, ensuring proper placement of cutlery, glassware, and dishes

• Greet and seat guests, providing menus and answering basic questions about menu items

• Take and relay drink orders to the bar staff

• Refill water glasses and attend to other guest needs throughout their dining experience

• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the dining area

• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery

• Process payments and handle cash transactions when necessary

• Adhere to all food safety and hygiene standards

• Participate in pre-shift meetings and ongoing training sessions

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Strong communication skills with fluency in English; knowledge of Arabic or other languages is a plus

• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and supportive demeanor

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and carry trays of food and beverages

• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating bills

• Attention to detail in food presentation and table settings

• Knowledge of food and beverage service techniques (preferred)

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality industry (preferred)

• Food handling certification (preferred)

• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
