Drone Operator

We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Drone Cleaning Technician / Drone Operator to operate advanced drone-based cleaning systems for high-rise buildings, facades, glass surfaces, solar panels, roofs, and other exterior structures.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate drone cleaning systems safely and efficiently for facade, glass, solar panel, roof, and exterior surface cleaning.
• Conduct pre-flight and post-flight inspections.
• Monitor weather conditions and site conditions before operations.
• Follow approved flight plans, operational procedures, and company SOPs.
• Maintain accurate flight logs and operational records.
• Conduct site inspections and risk assessments before starting operations.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, and site representatives.
• Establish safety zones, barricades, and operational control areas.
• Ensure required permits and approvals are obtained before drone operations.
• Inspect and maintain drones, batteries, controllers, pumps, hoses, nozzles, and related accessories.
• Perform preventive maintenance and equipment checks.
• Identify faults, report issues, and coordinate repairs when required.
• Ensure all equipment remains in safe working condition.
• Comply with GCAA regulations and UAE commercial drone operation requirements.
• Follow company HSE policies and safety procedures.
• Use appropriate PPE during all operations.
• Report incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions immediately.
• Ensure safety of clients, public areas, and property during operations.
• Prepare daily work reports and service completion reports.
• Maintain drone flight records and equipment inspection logs.
• Capture and submit before-and-after project photographs.
• Maintain accurate operational and maintenance documentation.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Aviation, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field preferred.
• Valid GCAA Remote Pilot Certificate (RPC) / Drone Pilot License – Mandatory.
• Knowledge of UAE Civil Aviation regulations for commercial drone operations.
• Valid UAE Driving License preferred.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience operating commercial drones .
• Experience in drone facade cleaning, high-rise cleaning, industrial drone operations, or inspection projects preferred.
• Knowledge of pressure washing systems and cleaning equipment is an advantage.
