Frontend Engineer

Role - Frontend Engineer

Location - Abu Dhabi

Salary - 15 K AED

Owns the user facing application layer, including component architecture, data fetching

patterns, and UI consistency across products.

Project Scope: Supports multiple concurrent platform initiatives within Digital Cloud

Infrastructure Engineering, including the Internal Developer Platform, alongside other cloud

infrastructure and product engineering projects. Not limited to a single initiative.

Primary Stack TypeScript, React, TanStack Query, TanStack Router, TanStack Table, Tailwind CSS, shadcn/ui

Required Skills

• 3+ years of production TypeScript and React experience.

• Hands on experience with the TanStack ecosystem, including Query, Router, and Table.

• Strong Tailwind CSS skills and experience composing accessible components with

shadcn/ui.

• Experience consuming REST APIs.

• Testing experience with Vitest or Jest and React Testing Library.

Preferred Skills

• Design systems or Storybook experience.

• Accessibility auditing experience (WCAG 2.1).

• Exposure to internal developer portal or platform engineering tooling, such as

Backstage, Port, or Roadie.

• Basic Node.js and Express experience is a bonus, though not required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain React applications in TypeScript with strong type safety across

components and props.

• Implement data fetching, caching, and mutation flows using TanStack Query, and own

client side routing with TanStack Router.

• Build complex data grids and tables using TanStack Table.

• Implement responsive, accessible UI using Tailwind CSS and shadcn/ui component

primitives.

• Build custom self service form extensions and multi step wizard flows for internal

developer tooling, such as scaffolding templates on the Internal Developer Platform.

• Build catalog style views, including entity relationship and dependency visualizations, for

internal platform tools.

• Partner with the Backend Engineer to define and consume API contracts.

• Maintain design system consistency and drive component reuse across products.

• Own frontend performance, including bundle size, code splitting, and render optimization.
