Job Title: Material Coordinator-Procurement (Interior Fit-Out)
Location: Corniche, Sharjah, UAE

Job Summary

We are looking for a Procurement / Material Coordinator who will be responsible for managing the procurement and coordination of materials requirements for our interior fit-out projects. The role ensures timely sourcing, purchasing, delivery, and inventory control of materials.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement

• Source and procure materials, finishes, fixtures, fittings, furniture, and equipment (FF&E) required for interior fit-out projects.
• Review approved Material Requisitions (MRs), BOQs, drawings, and specifications before procurement.
• Obtain quotations from approved suppliers and prepare commercial comparison sheets.
• Evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, delivery schedule, warranty, and compliance with project specifications.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and warranties with suppliers.

Material Coordination

• Coordinate delivery schedules with suppliers, logistics providers, warehouses, and project sites.
• Monitor procurement status to ensure materials arrive before installation dates.
• Prepare and submit material submittals for client/consultant, when required.
• Attend coordination meetings as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field.

Professional certification such as CIPS is an advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of procurement | material coordination experience in interior fit-out projects in the UAE.
• Strong knowledge of interior finishing materials and suppliers in the UAE.
• Experience in commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, and office fit-out projects is preferred.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of interior fit-out materials and construction methods.
• Ability to read BOQs, shop drawings, and material specifications.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with procurement planning and inventory control.
• Understanding of UAE supplier market and logistics.
