Technical Coordinator- Fit Out

GDM Interiors is looking for a Civil Engineer to perform Technical Project coordination in our office located inside SAIF Zone, Sharjah.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Experience working on and reviewing authority approval drawings, highly accurate technical shop drawings / working drawings, joinery drawings etc. through the entire life cycle of the Projects. In assistance with the drafting team should be able to generate the full set of shop drawings required for the assigned projects
• Strong technical knowledge to provide solutions and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of the site construction work related to fit out
• Experience in supporting engineering process, and coordinating with clients, consultants, and stakeholders.
• Understanding of Architectural and Joinery drawings. Knowledge in designing / preparing of RCP And VDP drawings to coordinate with the Joinery Team.
• Understanding of cutting lists and transforming the same in the shop drawings.
• Technical understanding of site works and the processes to streamline the progress of works in coordination with the site team
• Experience working closely with designers, engineers, joinery team, suppliers etc. to ensure seamless production, compliance with design intent and excellence in execution .
• Experience working with Design and Built firms will be an asset.

REQUIREMENTS

• Technical Proficiency: Strong understanding of AutoCAD drawings, specifications, and regulations.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with various stakeholders.
• Organization and Coordination: Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain accurate records.
• Problem-Solving: Analytical skills to identify issues and develop solutions.
• Knowledge of Fit-Out Processes: Familiarity with the typical stages of an interior fit-out project.
• Software Proficiency: Experience with CAD, BIM (Revit), and other relevant software.
• Teamwork: Ability to work effectively with a team and collaborate with different disciplines.
• Adaptability: Ability to adjust to changing project requirements and condition

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
