We are hiring a Senior Software Engineer with strong Pentaho ETL expertise to design, build and operate enterprise data integration workflows. The role demands hands-on ownership of Pentaho Data Integration on Oracle-backed pipelines, with active support for production stability and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and manage ETL workflows on Pentaho Data Integration (Enterprise Edition).
• Implement complex integration requirements including data cleansing, validation and transformation logic.
• Diagnose workflow failures, perform root cause analysis and ship durable fixes under operational SLAs.
• Analyse source and target data discrepancies and publish reconciliation outcomes to stakeholders.
• Monitor data infrastructure for performance and reliability and address issues proactively.
• Document data pipelines, processes and best practices to enable knowledge sharing across teams.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Pentaho Enterprise Edition — develop and manage — including Spoon, Kitchen and Pan.
• Mandatory Oracle database experience and proven handling of flat files and databases as sources and targets.
• Proficiency in designing and optimising ETL workflows, with modular, reusable component design.
• Advanced SQL and PL/SQL skills, including query optimisation and bulk data processing techniques.
• Experience integrating Pentaho with multiple data sources including databases, flat files, XML, JSON and APIs.
• Strong analytical, debugging and stakeholder communication skills in fast-moving delivery environments.
