Electrical Engineer

Job description:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop electrical system layouts (lighting, power, data, etc.) in coordination with interior design layouts.
• Create detailed electrical drawings using AutoCAD, Revit, or other BIM software.
• Perform Electrical load calculations, circuiting, and equipment selection in compliance with local codes (DEWA, ADDC, etc.).
• Coordinate electrical designs with HVAC, plumbing, and other MEP systems to avoid clashes.
• Review and approve MEP Shop drawings and material submittals.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure correct implementation of electrical systems as per approved designs.
• Liaise with subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely procurement and installation of electrical components.
• Troubleshoot and resolve site issues during fit-out execution.
• Ensure all electrical works comply with relevant regulations, standards, and authority approvals (DEWA, Civil Defense, etc.).
• Prepare documentation and support applications for authority approvals and inspections.
• Work closely with interior designers, architects, and civil engineers to ensure the electrical design enhances overall aesthetic and functionality.
• Attend Projects meetings to provide technical input and updates on electrical work status.

Qualifications:

• B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Preference will be given to candidates with SOE certification & DM Approved.
• Minimum 3–4 years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within the interior fit-out or construction industry.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and MS Office.
• Strong knowledge of local authority regulations and approval processes (e.g., DEWA, SEWA, ADDC, Civil Defense).
• Good understanding of interior design principles and how electrical systems impact aesthetics.
• Excellent communication and project coordination skills.
• Must have UAE valid driving license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month
