Job description
We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong experience in Node.js and/or Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, and CI/CD to help build an AI-driven Commodity Trading & Risk Management (CTRM) platform. This role is ideal for engineers who actively leverage AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot as part of their development workflow.
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior Backend Engineer with strong experience in Node.js and/or Python, PostgreSQL, Docker, and CI/CD to help build an AI-driven Commodity Trading & Risk Management (CTRM) platform.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain scalable backend services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Utilize AI coding tools to enhance development efficiency.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Backend Engineer.
- Fluent in Russian Language (Native/Bilingual)
Required Skills
- Strong experience in Node.js and/or Python.
- Proficiency in PostgreSQL.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with AI coding tools.
- Experience in the finance or trading industry.
