Fulfillment Operations Manager / Distribution Analyst / Logistics Coordinator

Role Description

Manage and optimize fulfillment, distribution, and logistics operations to ensure efficient order processing, inventory movement, and on-time delivery while supporting operational excellence and customer satisfaction. This role is responsible for coordinating end-to-end supply chain activities, monitoring warehouse and transportation performance, improving operational workflows, and delivering data-driven insights that enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Depending on the position level, responsibilities may include leading fulfillment teams, analyzing distribution performance, coordinating logistics activities, and supporting continuous process improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will collaborate with warehouse operations, supply chain, procurement, transportation providers, customer service, sales, finance, inventory management, information technology, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure seamless execution across the fulfillment network. The role also involves managing inventory accuracy, warehouse capacity planning, transportation coordination, order fulfillment, carrier performance, demand forecasting, logistics reporting, warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms, artificial intelligence (AI)-powered supply chain analytics, predictive inventory planning, automation technologies, performance dashboards, cost optimization, risk management, and continuous improvements that enhance productivity, service levels, operational efficiency, and customer experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Commerce, or a related field; relevant logistics and supply chain certifications are highly desirable.
• Proven experience as a Fulfillment Operations Manager, Distribution Analyst, Logistics Coordinator, Supply Chain Analyst, Warehouse Operations Manager, Distribution Coordinator, Logistics Analyst, Fulfillment Specialist, or a similar operations and logistics role.
• Strong understanding of fulfillment operations, warehouse management, inventory control, transportation management, distribution planning, demand forecasting, order management, supply chain optimization, procurement, vendor management, and operational excellence.
• Extensive experience managing fulfillment processes, coordinating warehouse activities, analyzing distribution performance, optimizing inventory levels, improving logistics workflows, managing third-party logistics (3PL) providers, monitoring transportation performance, and implementing process improvement initiatives.
• Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, Oracle ERP, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Manhattan WMS, Blue Yonder, Oracle WMS, SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM), Microsoft Excel (Advanced), Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Salesforce, transportation management systems (TMS), warehouse management systems (WMS), enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms, and cloud-based supply chain solutions.
• Strong knowledge of inventory planning, warehouse operations, logistics analytics, supply chain KPIs, Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, transportation optimization, order fulfillment, capacity planning, cost management, demand planning, business intelligence, and operational reporting.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence (AI), Generative AI, predictive analytics, intelligent demand forecasting, robotic process automation (RPA), warehouse automation, IoT-enabled supply chain technologies, cloud computing, digital supply chain platforms, and emerging logistics technologies is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills with the ability to interpret operational data, identify process improvement opportunities, optimize logistics performance, reduce operational costs, and support data-driven business decisions.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively with warehouse teams, transportation partners, suppliers, procurement, customer service, finance, sales, and executive leadership.
• Experience supporting e-commerce, retail, manufacturing, consumer goods, healthcare, technology, third-party logistics (3PL), distribution centers, or multinational supply chain operations is highly desirable.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple operational priorities, coordinate cross-functional teams, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), implement process improvements, and deliver measurable business outcomes within established timelines.
• Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP), Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD), Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Project Management Professional (PMP), or equivalent logistics and supply chain qualifications are considered an advantage.
• A detail-oriented, results-driven, and operationally focused supply chain professional with a passion for optimizing fulfillment and logistics operations while leveraging AI, Generative AI, automation, advanced analytics, and modern supply chain technologies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, enhance customer satisfaction, and deliver sustainable operational excellence.
