An energy company is building its German operations within a fast-growing, entrepreneurial

environment backed by a leading private equity infrastructure platform. The local team is highly dynamic, with ambitious plans to scale significantly in the coming months, driving increased activity and operational complexity.

The Role

As part of this growth phase, we are looking for a hands-on Finance Controller to support the day-to-day financial operations of the German business.

This is a highly operational role, ideal for someone who enjoys working close to the detail (“machine room” of finance), while gaining exposure to broader financial processes within an

international renewable energy platform.

You will work closely with the Senior Finance Manager and act as the operational finance

counterpart to the HQ team in Spain.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial reports and support controlling activities
• Perform Excel-based financial analysis and data management
• Manage and support the invoicing process end-to-end
• Coordinate with external accounting and tax advisors
• Handle operational financial data exchange with internal and external stakeholders
• Support banking processes , including documentation and preparation of materials
• Assist with contract-related financial tracking (development & construction phases)
• Act as a key operational interface with HQ finance team

Profile

• 1-5 years of experience in finance, controlling, or accounting
• Strong hands-on mentality with attention to detail
• Solid Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
• Basic understanding of financial processes and systems , ideally including banking interactions
• Ability to work independently from day one in a fast-paced environment
• German native speaker (mandatory)
• Good level of English
