Senior Fire Safety Manager

Summary

This Senior Fire Safety Manager is required to ensure all fire safety systems and firefighting equipment are inspected, maintained and fully operational in compliance with regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct fire safety inspection on each site at least twice a year and a report submitted to advise sites on any fire safety risk, and to ensure compliance with the Fire Safety Act and Regulations.

• Advise sites on their fire emergency evacuation plans and procedures.

• Ensure that escape routes are not obstructed by unauthorised structures, goods, or other disused items.

• Identify and advise sites on eliminating potential fire hazards.

• Ensure fire safety equipment, fire safety related systems installed, and firefighting equipment, are inspected and serviced by Contractor; and are operationally ready at all times. These include the following: fire extinguishers, hose reel system and hydrants; public address system; fire alarm system; and all other fire safety equipment and installations.

About You

• The Senior Fire Safety Manager (SFSM) shall possess relevant fire safety manager certificate recognised by SCDF

• Diploma in Building Services with a minimum 3 years of experience as a Fire Safety Manager (FSM) for properties where there are at least 1000 occupants preferably in campus environment
